Making It Rain

This is a sketch cover I was commissioned to make at Florida Supercon. The guy asked me to remake Lebron James pregame ritual of tossing chalk dust up into the air... but, make it Deadpool style. This is what I cooked up. I think this came out well. I had already drawn around 13 other sketches over the course of the convention and it was really wearing me down so it was nice to draw a character I'm fairly familiar with and just have fun for a bit. My only problem with this piece is I wanted to ink it all in color but, the paper they used for the cover was just NOT absorbing anything I put down so I wound up with streaks on the mask. Now I know.
